Let’s Learn

Most of us have a gap between the kind of Bible student we want to be and what we actually do in real life. It’s difficult to make time for meaningful reading of any kind in our culture. And if we have been out of school for a while, we probably haven’t stayed sharp in our reading and evaluation skills. Some of us never felt like we were very good at those to begin with! Even if we are excellent readers, we may not have been taught how to study the Bible for ourselves, especially in a way that holds our interest and keeps us coming back for more. Let’s Learn is an opportunity for you to grow in your knowledge of the Word for the purpose of a closer relationship with Jesus. We won’t be trying to make scholars out of everyone, but we will try to help you take the next step towards being a lifelong learner and disciple of Christ. This class is designed to provide you with some foundational concepts you’d learn if went to Bible college but simplified for regular people with different learning abilities. This is the handbook students will need for following along in class, reviewing lecture material, and obtaining homework assignments.
